Flathead Valley Aerial Photos Now Available
The Montana State Library has added high-resolution (1 foot pixel) natural-color aerial photos of the Flathead Valley to our web site at http://nris.mt.gov/nsdi/orthophotos.
This imagery was prepared by the Flathead County GIS Department (http://maps.co.flathead.mt.us) from photos funded through an Office of Domestic Preparedness (ODP) Homeland Security Grant. The The Montana Homeland Security GIS Subcommittee has oversight of this project.
These photographs are also available for viewing on the Topofinder at http://maps2.nris.state.mt.us/scripts/esrimap.dll?name=LocMap&Cmd=Map and through the USGS National Map site at http://nationalmap.gov.
