This data represents a polygon shape file produced by buffering data in elk.shp with a 1000 meter buffer. This represents the possible normal extent of winter movements for the individual observations.

Purpose:

The purpose of the project is to digitize existing wildlife data for use in the Natural Resource Damage Program. The data is intended to aid in NRDP project planning and implementation by identifying key wildlife habitats.
